In 2010, the Pakistan Rugby Union became an affiliate member of World Rugby, the international governing body for the sport. This affiliation gave the PRU access to funding and resources that have helped to further develop rugby in Pakistan.


Rugby Teams in Pakistan.


There are currently several rugby teams in Pakistan, including both men's and women's teams. The men's national rugby team, known as the Pakistan Rugby XV, has been competing in international tournaments since the 1980s. Future Prospects for Rugby in Pakistan.
